Tracking Treasures in 2012

HAPPY 2012 FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS

A new day has dawned over the mountains.
The pinks and blues of  God's kaledescope
Shining forth into this New Year.
Like a blank computer screen awaiting our words,
There are moments and days ahead,
People and places to see,
Adventures to enjoy and
Nuggets of truth and life to discover.

 Kirstin and John Moore are

They've just blogged from New Zealand:
"Our imaginations are exploding with newfound love of and faith in God."
Kirstin and John are breathless with magical memories
Of glorious adventures and
Nuggets of truth discovered.

But we don't have to travel far--
To find the #1 Treasure.
"When you seek Me with all of your heart--then will you find me."

Karen Bland, a devoted Mom of 3 special sons--
my "Heartbeats" :)--
A woman of faith, a savvy businesswoman and domestic engineer,
Karen tracks treasures throughout her busy life
Sharing those nuggets of observation on her blog

Karen writes: "When he (Kaleb) comes to a place where he needs some help
he doesn't look back but simply puts his hand up
with full confidence that I am there to hold it and support him.
I need to become like a child and reach out confidently to my God
who promised He will never leave me or foresake me."

The road ahead in 2012
Is uncertain.
But we're never alone
Not for one second.

Yahweh, Jehovah God, "Jesus-Priceless Treasure",
(as Johann Frank wrote in the 1600's)
Walks with us--
Loving, comforting, guiding and
Revealing.
Eager that we find Him and
A motherlode of life's treasures.

Fully human
Fully alive.

As St. Irenaeus said in the 2nd century:
"The glory of God is a human being who is fully alive."

How many Treasures can you find this year?

I was so moved by the statement: "when Caleb needs help, he doesn't look back, just puts his hands up." May we be like that little child: so trusting, so confident of his parent's ability to take care of any problem. I will remember that word picture and carry it with me. Thanks for writing such a beautiful post!

Dena, yes Lil Kaleb's example is a beautiful reminder for us. Thanks for the exquisite and gripping comments AND your very inspiring blog--God And Me!

To seek Him with all my heart is my heart's desire. I'll be tracking treasures this year.
